Children experience the world differently than adults, their understanding of grief and loss included. Join Leah Yazmer, Certified Child Life Specialist from Tranquility: A private child life practice, LLC as she coaches adults on developmentally appropriate strategies for supporting children through loss. Leah will discuss effective language, how children process and understand loss/grief, and provide examples of memory making activities to complete with children.
