Caring for Carers: Mental Health Professional Workshop
Join us for a workshop just for mental health professionals Friday, April 24th, 9:00am-3:00pm at Brian’s Healing Hearts in Niantic, CT.
It is so easy to get stuck in the cycle of caring for others in the office, at home, and with family/friends without making adequate time for true recovery. In this in person workshop, participants will draw on the principles of Dr Alan Wolfelts’ “Living Your Life with Meaning and Purpose” to reconnect with your unique path of service. Participants will be asked to complete Dr Wolfelt’s “Stress map” prior to the workshop. The results will form the basis for development of your unique plan for change towards greater health, welfare, and restoration. The hope is that you will emerge with a renewed vision of your purpose and a plan for how to best care for your Self so you are able to care for others.
Who Should Attend: This workshop will be helpful to mental health professionals who need a better plan for caring for themselves as they care for others. If you know someone who would find this helpful, encourage them to register!
