DESCRIPTION:How to Talk to a Grieving Person Workshop \nWednesday 2/25\, 11:00am-12:30pm at Thrive 55+ Groton Senior Center. \nOur western culture isn’t very good at acknowledging grief which means many of us never learned how to support our friends\, co-workers\, neighbors or families as they mourn. We don’t know how to talk about it. This workshop will provide concrete suggestions about what may be helpful to say/not say\, how to offer specific help\, when silence may be useful\, and other tips and tools.
