Bright Music Festival
Many people who excel in the creative arts also struggle with depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. The Bright Music Festival lets the talents of young adults in our community shine while promoting mental wellness and suicide prevention. Bright showcases live music by popular local bands and spoken-word poetry along with free activities to help you relax and reflect. Bright is a family-friendly festival held in the summer each year at McCook Point Park.
Spend a wonderful afternoon at the beach, enjoy live music, and de-stigmatize the conversation around mental health in a comfortable, safe, and relaxed environment.
Help get the word out! Encourage others to attend this event, especially teen and young adults that you know. You can also help by contributing your time, offering a service, or by making a tax-deductible donation. Proceeds from this event support the free programs at the Brian Dagle Foundation and Brian’s Healing Hearts Grief Support Center and the Jordan Porco Foundation.
Bright Music Festival will be partnering with AFSP CT and joining us at the Out of the Darkness Walk in Niantic on September 19th.
